Why does the same meal scan differently?

Two photos of the same meal can produce slightly different estimates.

Why it happens

The AI estimates from what it can see, and lighting, angle and how the food is arranged change what is visible. Small differences between scans are normal and average out over a week.

How to get consistent numbers
